your life or If the thing or
person, animal or place is draining
the life out of you. ANSWER THE

POSITIVE THINKING
When faced with an event

"on the bright side" can
give you a lift. Put yourself
in a higher mood with questions
like the following:What Is the worst thing that can
possibly happen?What could be the hidden gains In
all this mess?What can I honestly expect myself
to do about it?What can't I change, and how can
I live with that?Has anything like this ever happened
to anyone else? Did they make It
through It? How?If this happened last month, would I
be over it by now?Could this be another character-
building event? Will I be stronger,
wiser, more flexible from it having
happened?
